Simpsons Playground Reserve, nestled by the river, offers a peaceful, picturesque environment for family outings. The reserve is known for its quaint, boat-themed children's playground, complete with slides and swings, a delight for kids, albeit somewhat dated. In addition, the park offers plenty of green space for picnics, games, or simply relaxing, and a well-maintained walking track along the river that is both scenic and tranquil. The park's amenities include public toilets, car parking, and a unique bronze replica of a canoe showcasing local Aboriginal heritage. It's also wheelchair accessible, enhancing its appeal for all visitors.
